Use up to date methods
"The winds of change are blowing" said Steve Graham (ex Laidlaw Christchurch Campus principal / pastor in ACTS movement), "Love change, it's coming." Christians and churches need to help people get from where they are... to knowing Jesus. There is no point being excellent at out-of-date methods. We need to try new ideas like our pioneering forefathers did. The Choluteca Bridge in Honduras was an excellent bridge but became useless when the river was moved by hurricane Mitch. Let’s not be like that!
“Will you be satisfied in ten years’ time if you only see the same amount accomplished as you have seen in the last ten years?” Be willing to change.
As mentioned in Philippians 2:25, congregations need to be co-workers and fellow soldiers in the battle, not just be a family for each other.
Unity is important; there are many options for outreach ministry, but a church needs to choose which direction it will go together to accomplish the Great Commission because there is much strength in unity (Gen 11:6 Tower of Babel). Beware of the enemy trying to sow discord.
