Pray for whichever part of the journey they are up to

(based on Engel Scale)

 That they will…

  • Realise they have an emptiness.

  • Begin to be aware of God and learn of God’s character: love, compassion, protection, provider

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20

Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy. Acts 14:17

  • Know that people can have a personal relationship with God

  • Realise that God can be known; pray that God will show his goodness to them

  • Develop an awareness of Jesus and what he offers them (acceptance, welcomes doubts and fears

  • Explore Christianity and meet with Christians to help them

  • Experience God’s love through Christians

  • Hear and understand the gospel

  • Realise their personal need of the gospel

  • Realise the cost of becoming a disciple of Jesus and the cost of not becoming a disciple

  • Realise they need to make a choice and can’t ‘sit on the fence’

  • Understand they need to turn away from things not of God and live Jesus’ way
