Te Mapua's God's Warriors!

Our God's Warrior programme has been running for 20 years and has been a catalyst for discipling hundreds of children from the community over this time! It is an awesome programme full of the Word of God, games, Iwi times, stories, crafts, and worship. We run it in the heart of the communities we serve in.

In 2019 I heard the 'One Million Children' vision, to pray and plan into multiplying what we were doing to reach children and to believe to double in capacity in our children's ministries. I really felt the Holy Spirit speak to me about this and the more I prayed into it, the more God released strategy and vision for how to practically go about this.  We sought out key relationships with churches passionate about reaching the lost and developed plans with them on how to establish a God's Warrior group in their area.  Our flagship God's Warriors is based in Linwood, and from there we launched a second team into Shirley and then multiplied the vision again into Beckenham. God is now making a way for us to expand into Halswell as we seek Him and train leaders up within our ministry. 

Our planning, training and prayer meetings each term are bursting at the seams with passionate leaders who are discipling our beautiful God's Warrior's tamariki, and we continue to look to grow so that we can reach more children with the Gospel.  We have our van 'Goldie' that travels into each of the programmes Mon- Wed with all the resources, and although each God's Warriors group has its own flavour, there is a blessing on the unity of our team and our desire to glorify God as we work together with church communities. We are excited to see all God will do!!
