Churches need to reach out into their community

According to the Hope Project, research in Australia shows that only 40% of people have a church going friend. We would assume NZ would have similar results.  While we need to encourage every Christian to have more non-Christian friends, and to have the confidence to share about God with them, churches also need to reach out to the community so that all people have the opportunity to hear the gospel.
