Christchurch Christmas Parade 2017
True Christmas Story shared at Santa Parade 2017
The 2017 Christchurch Santa Parade was an opportunity to present the true Christmas message to 100,000 people. It was great having Christmas Carols sung from the Nativity Float by people from the Christchurch Christian Victory Church, all dressed as angels. Some songs were in English and some in Chinese. 2500 Hope Project booklets were handed out to adults. These had stickers on the back with the websites for finding a course with Alpha, Christianity Explored and Long Story Short. 4000 Scripture Union Kids Christmas Activity booklets were handed out, each with a Road to Bethlehem and Girls Brigade/Boys Brigade flyer tucked inside. Thanks to all who helped including those who stuck on stickers, collated, and handed out flyers, were involved with floats, and those who helped cover the $600 cost.
