NOTES
Outreach is a lifestyle not just an event. Let outreach be part of your everyday life.
Your major weapon in evangelism is your personal testimony. Every Christian can share their story with others and be used by God to reach people.
Evangelists can be introverts. God wants to use your personality. Be you, whether that means you're outgoing and chatty, or introspective and a good listener.
Being nervous is normal. Step out anyway.
Listen to people. Hear their stories. Don't just talk. Listen to them while simultaneously listening to God for what He is saying prophetically in that moment and let that guide the conversation.
Using prophetic words of knowledge is one way of reaching out to people. If you get a prophetic word, don't take away from it or add to it. Give it and ask them what it means to them.
Walk in obedience to God's prompting even if it feels awkward. If God guides you into it, He has purpose in it and will provide and meet you in it, and touch the person, even if it happens later when you don't see the fruit.
Spend time with Jesus to be filled with courage. It's HIM that empowers us. "When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished, and they took note that these men had been with Jesus."(Acts 4:13)
It's not just about getting people to say a prayer. Yes, they need to confess with their mouth but they also need to give their LIFE to Jesus and be discipled.
