Woodend Kids Holiday Camp 2021

The weather was awesome for a winter camp! 80 kids had a wonderful time with the help of 40 leaders/leadership team. We had lots of sun, and only one rainy day which was filled with lots of activities. This camp was very much a relational one with lots of kids building close relationships with their leaders and other campers. We had a few children give their lives to God this week; pray that God would continue to bring people into their lives that would strengthen their relationship with him.

Sending the bus off on Friday was a very sad time with many tears. It showed how impacting the week was with the love and value spoken into the kids' lives. Please continue to pray for our campers as they go back into normal life; most will go into healthy loving homes but unfortunately some of them won’t. With broken families and trauma, some of these kids will go back to situations that are unimaginable to us. Pray that they will remember what we have taught them about Jesus and the hope that they have in him. Please also pray for our team as we go back into normal lives after such a big week that was physically, mentally, and emotionally draining.

Another very successful kids camp done! So many stories and memories that will last a long time. We are so grateful to God for his faithfulness to us again, providing everything we needed. Thanks for your prayer support.
