Te Mapua Camp

We are thanking God for another amazing camp opportunity to reach out to children in need and show them the love of God! We had a wonderful camp in the October school holidays, and once again experienced God's grace, goodness and blessing as we shared His message of hope with our precious children.  We had many opportunities to pray for our children, to nurture them and inspire faith in them as they heard the Gospel message presented over camp. Many of our young ones were experiencing grief and hardship in their lives, and mental health issues as well as behaviour issues are very real struggles for them, so hearing and responding to a loving God was the start of a brand new life of hope for our kids. We can't wait to disciple and support them in our God's Warrior programmes throughout the term. Another amazing answer to prayer, was the partnership once again between Te Mapua and a fantastic local church! This church sent a missions team to join us as caregivers for the week and they were fabulous! We are honoured and excited to share ministry opportunities and together make a real difference in the lives of Christchurch families!
